The Zedd-produced track and Eva Simons original, ‘I Don’t Like You’ just clashed with the sounds that categorize a Nicky Romero Anthem. Eva’s vocals are overlaid a typical Romero piano melody before dropping into a classic drop filled with wompy sounds and steel-clad chord progression. Romero flawlessly turns the original completely upside down, as he returns to the elements that have made his career soar!

Back to the hard hitting beats.

If you haven’t notice 2012 is the year of collaboration. Already we have seen huge names such as; Angger Dimas & BassjackersFedde Le Grand, Deniz Koyu, & Johan WedelArty, Matisse & Sadko,  Laidback Luke, Arno Cost & Norman Doray, Tiesto & Wolfgang Gartner combine forces and the list continues. ‘Metropolis’ is the second joint venture for Guetta & Nicky Romero and their follow-up track to the club Anthem, ‘Wild One Two’. The two heavyweights of House have had this highly publicized track ready for quite awhile and anticipation has been steadily growing towards it’s release.  ‘Metropolis’ is a solid combination of both producers strengths.
Dirty modern bass from Nicky Romero and a rising melody from Guetta.

The short wait is over.  Tommy Trash’s, uniqueness, energy and grinding synth work, blends perfectly with the original riff, produced by Nicky Romero. Trash’s latest remix exemplifies his ability to take an average Progressive House Anthem and make it relevant.

Another intense, energetic, and  killer remix from the Aussie, that is almost too filthy to categorize. Get Trashed!

From collabarations with Avicii, David Guetta, and Hardwell, too the release of massive singles, ‘Generation 303’. and ‘Toulouse’. Nicky Romero has proven himself a gem of a producer amid the overcrowded European movement.  Where others have fallen into a world of musical stereotypes, Romero remains a producer out to set aside all assumptions of the Netherland’s outstanding Electronic output. Pete Tong was the first to pick up on this sophisticated addition to his Cr2 Live and Direct imprint.

Today the Dutch DJ drops his second single of the year ‘Se7en’. This track has all the essentials to be a club banger with that dutch house sound we all like.
