Axtone is back with the answer to Thomas Gold’s Beatport Chart topper ‘Sing 2 Me’. ‘Leave A Light On’ originates from two Axtone veterans, Henrik B and Rudy. Henrik B joined Axwell on the remode of Adrian Lux’s Anthem ‘Teenage Crime’ and Rudy has provided vocal work on Anthems such as; ‘In The Air’, ‘Open Your Heart’, ‘Let It Go’ and the Dirty South Anthem, ‘Phazing’. ‘Leave A Light On’ opens with a strong bass line before rushing into the emotional melody and vocals. The remainder of the track is accompanied by light synths, piano riffs, building tempo and raw bass. ‘Leave A Light On’ will quickly climb to the top of the charts, but can it pass its predecessor ‘Sing 2 Me’?

NO_ID provides the only official remix of the track, retaining the release to the Axtone family. The Dutch duo’s remodel is in line with their establish sound. They replace the piercing keys with aggressive chords, totally drowning the big room vibe that boosts the original. Not a fan of this remix at all, but NO_ID is a duo worth watching in 2012.

John Dahlback has been hit or miss ever since teaming up with Albin Myers to form Myback. Dahlback killed it with his remix of Skylar Grey’s ‘Invisible’. I think he should stick with Progressive House. Here are three more of his most recent releases.
I have no idea what an overdose feels like, but this is as close as I want to get. Pure electro house.

Henrik B’s influence is very evident, in this progressive, almost trance track.
